Shows the buttons for adding elements, and displays the list of elements.
A object can have any number of elements. These elements will appear as they are listed, with the last element being drawn last. Pressing one of the element buttons will add a new element to the list.
Any file
Adds a file element, such as a bitmap or a sound.
Paint
Draw lines, rectangles, circles or any other shape.
Text Title
Add one or more lines of text.
Bitmap
A dialog box will appear and ask you for the size and color resolution to create a new bitmap. Child elements can then be added to the bitmap to compose its image.
Gradient
Fills the entire surface with a color gradient.
Movie
Create a new child movie. The child movie is transparent and plays over the top of the parent movie while the parent movie continues to play. It has its own timeline which plays independently of the parent timeline. Actions can be used to stop or start the movie playing, or jump to any scene within the movie.
Button
Adds a button with an 'up' state, a 'down' state, and a 'mouse over' state. And number of child elements can be used to compose the image for these states. Movie elements can be used to animate the images.
Sound
A new sound can be composed out of children sounds. These sounds can be positioned anywhere along thier parent's timeline.
Paste object
Pastes a copied element onto the element list.
Library
Choose images, icons or sounds from our library.
Layer
A layer can be used as the parent for a group of other elements. When the layer moves, all of its children will move accordingly.
Animation
Create a new animation The animation is transparent and plays over the top of the parent movie while the parent movie continues to play. It has its own timeline which plays independently of the parent timeline. Actions can be used to stop or start the animation.
HTML
HTML: Begin a new HTML file.
3D Text
3D Text: Render one or more lines of text in 3D.
Model
Model: You can create your own 3D models.
Light
Light: You can have any number of lights in a scene. They can be part of any model.
An element can be selected by clicking the element name. Multiple elements can be selected using control and shift. Elements can be dragged and dropped into new positions. They can be copied and pasted, or they can be deleted by pressing the 'Delete' key.
The first option shows or hides the element when the movie is being edited.
Shows the element immediately when the movie starts. Without this option, the element must be shown using a 'Scene' or 'Show' event.
Allows an element to be selected by clicking on its image in the graphics window.
Opens the property window to change the options for the element.
